Lawrence Kirsch
President

Lawrence Kirsch, founder of Marketing and Management Consulting, is a strategic advisor who helps businesses turn big ideas into practical growth strategies. With more than 40 years of experience across consumer products, manufacturing, e-commerce, and business-to-business industries, Larry works closely with leadership teams to clarify direction, strengthen market position, and build sustainable paths to growth.

Larry’s consulting practice has helped hundreds of small and mid-sized companies do one thing: perform better. Specializing in strategic and succession planning, marketing and sales, and business management, he brings a sharp eye for internal challenges, competitive dynamics, and untapped opportunity. From market entry to brand refinement to product expansion, Larry bridges the gap between strategy and execution — delivering growth in market share and profitability

Larry brings something rare to the consulting table: he’s lived the challenges his clients face. His career spans the full arc of business — from the front lines of global corporations to the high-stakes world of entrepreneurship. He led budgeting, forecasting, and competitive analysis for major consumer brands at Beecham Products (now GlaxoSmithKline), and supported international product development at VOEST Alpine, Austria’s largest manufacturer. He went on to found three companies, co-own a food manufacturing operation, and help launch an e-commerce venture. As Vice President of Marketing for The Kirlin Corporation, he helped engineer a strategic transformation that became one of the most profitable chapters in the company’s history.

In addition to his consulting work, Larry is deeply committed to mentoring entrepreneurs and future business leaders. He has served as a Distinguished Faculty Member at the University of Phoenix, teaching MBA candidates in strategic management and advanced marketing. He has worked with emerging companies as a Domain Expert with CONNECT and as a Senior Advisor to Pacific Community Ventures, helping leadership teams sharpen strategy and navigate growth challenges.

Larry holds an MBA in International Marketing from Emory University and a certificate in International Marketing from Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria. He is also a Certified Family Business Advisor, supporting family-owned companies as they plan leadership transitions and long-term continuity.

Marilyn Taylor is an Internet Marketing strategist, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Google Ads expert, entrepreneur, and educator who is passionate about helping businesses get discovered online and grow with confidence. As the founder and owner of Optimize4YouSEO, Marilyn and her team work with organizations, entrepreneurs, and marketing departments to turn complex internet marketing goals into practical strategies that drive results.

Marilyn’s path to digital marketing and social media started long before the Internet took center stage. With a background in business analysis, merchandising, and project management, she spent years helping companies understand how data, customer behavior, and smart strategy work together to drive growth. Today, she brings that same analytical mindset to website development and SEO, helping businesses improve visibility, attract the right audience, and build sustainable online success.

Through Optimize4YouSEO, Marilyn partners closely with her clients. She not only helps improve their websites and search rankings but also teaches them how SEO works so they can make smarter marketing decisions long after a project is complete. Her approach combines technical expertise with a teacher’s mindset, making complex digital marketing topics easier to understand and apply.

In addition to consulting, Marilyn has taught marketing and business courses as an adjunct professor, sharing her real-world experience with students and future professionals. As an entrepreneur herself and the founder of multiple online ventures, she understands firsthand the challenges business owners face when trying to stand out in the Internet age.

Tom Tarr

Tom Tarr is a strategic growth leader who helps organizations turn ambitious goals into measurable revenue. With more than 30 years of experience in business development, marketing, and go-to-market strategy, Tom specializes in helping complex organizations and nonprofits bridge the gap between marketing activity and real revenue results. Across every role, he brings a consistent focus on aligning marketing, business development, and operations to drive measurable growth.

As the founder of PacificPoint StrategyWorks, Tom works with small to medium-sized organizations to design practical, data-driven growth strategies. His focus is building the systems, partnerships, and go-to-market frameworks that help organizations expand their reach, strengthen their value proposition, and create sustainable revenue engines. Additionally, Tom has served as an interim executive and advisor, delivering strategic solutions for global brands such as Whirlpool, Kenmore, Midas, and Booz & Company. Across every role, he brings a consistent focus on working across silos to find efficiencies by better aligning marketing, business development, and operations to drive measurable growth.

Throughout his career, Tom has helped organizations translate strategy into real-world impact. As director of brand marketing for the BlueCross BlueShield Association he managed a $42 million P&L, including overseeing the national deployment of its Olympic Sponsorship. Additionally, he worked with key stakeholders across the federation to maximize value and find marketing efficiencies, while helping to unify brand strategy across the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association’s 38-company federation. 

His work in healthcare includes design of a business development function for a $30 million Federally Qualified Health Center, helping generate nearly $1 million in new annual, fee-for-service and pharmacy revenue. His leadership has also shaped major healthcare initiatives at a national level, including launching large-group private benefits exchanges for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, and leading the GTM strategy and execution for Blue Shield of California’s narrow network insurance products. 

Tom holds a B.A. from Indiana University and completed executive education at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Today, he partners with organizations that are ready to sharpen their go-to-market strategy, strengthen revenue development, and turn complex challenges into clear opportunities for growth.
